Introduction

Welcome!

My name is Nathan, a recent college grad who joined the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in March '06. Shortly thereafter I started working with the Solar Bolometric Imaging (SBI) project (see the links section for more details). I must have done something right (or at least not screwed up too badly), because they invited me to join them on thier expedition to Antarctica for the winter/summer of '06 (depending upon which hemisphere you are in).

I set up this blog in order to keep all my friends, family, colleagues, and anyone else up to date with my adventures in the frozen south. I'll try to keep this updated whenever I get some free time.
